"Way too much smoke and soot"
I just wanted something that would burn cleanly, but this put out way too much smoke and left soot everywhere. Frustrating when that basic expectation wasn’t met.

"I did get my refund in the end..."
I did get my refund in the end, so no major issue there, but the return emails were slower than I expected. Support was polite and kept saying things like, “we’re looking into it” and “thanks for your patience,” which was reassuring, but I still felt like I had to wait around longer than I should have

"Packed well, which honestly surprised me"
My candles showed up totally safe and nothing was cracked, which I was kind of confused by at first because the box looked simple. But once I opened it, there was plenty of padding and everything was packed neatly. No complaints here, they did a good job.

"Good candles for the price"
I was satisfied with my order from Village Candle. The prices were better than what I usually find in stores, and the candles still seemed like nice quality, not cheap or flimsy.
They burn well and last a decent amount of time, so I feel like they were worth the money. Shipping was fine too. I’d be happy to order again when I need more candles.

"Lasts way longer than I thought!"
I’m impressed with how long this burns. I’ve been using it most evenings, and there’s still a good amount left... definitely feels worth it to me!

"Shipping took a bit"
I ordered a couple candles and they showed up totally fine, but yeah the shipping was slower than I thought it’d be. The tracking kinda just sat there for a few days with no real updates, so I wasn’t sure what was going on. Nothing awful or anything, just not super quick. I’d prob buy again, just not if I need it asap.

"I really like the scent, but the hot..."
I really like the scent, but the hot throw was weak in my living room. It’s not terrible, but this little underachiever just didn’t fill the space the way I hoped.

"Not the best first impression"
My candle order did show up safely, so I’ll give them that, but the whole delivery experience wasn’t a great first impression. It arrived a few days later than expected, and the tracking barely updated, which was frustrating. Nothing was damaged, but it was still kind of annoying to be left wondering where my order was.

"Not sure if it was just mine, but the wax was disappointing"
I don’t know if I did something wrong or just got a bad one, but the wax didn’t burn evenly for me. It also left behind these weird clumpy bits, which was disappointing.

"Sale price wasn’t as good as I expected"
I ordered during a sale because the discount made it seem like I was getting a good deal. But once shipping was added, the savings didn’t feel like much anymore.
The candles themselves are fine, so I don’t regret buying them. I just expected the sale price to be better based on the way it was advertised, so I’m not in a hurry to order again unless there’s a bigger promo.

"Scent was sort of close"
The candle was fine overall, but the smell wasn’t exactly what I thought it would be. It’s kind of hard to describe, but once it was burning, the scent came across a little different than expected. Not bad at all, just not quite what I had in mind. I’d maybe try a different one next time.

"Really even burn"
I ordered a couple candles from villagecandle.com and I’ve been really happy with them. The wax burns down so evenly—well, as long as I remember to trim the wick, it stays really even and doesn’t tunnel like some other candles I’ve tried. The scent is nice too, but the burn quality is what stood out to me the most. Definitely 5 stars.

"Came cracked, but they handled it quick"
My candle showed up with a crack in it, which was annoying, but I guess that stuff happens in shipping. I messaged them and they sent out a replacement right away with no hassle. So even though the first one was broken, I’m still happy with it somehow.

"Really strong scent without overdoing it"
Picked up a couple Village Candle candles, not expecting too much honestly. But yeah, kind of surprised. Lit one in the living room and maybe 20 minutes later I could smell it all the way down the hall.
And it wasn’t that weird fake, headache-y kind of strong. Just warm and noticeable, like the room actually felt nicer. Blew it out later and the scent still stuck around for a bit. I’d definitely grab these again

"I was able to find what I needed..."
I was able to find what I needed without too much trouble, but the site definitely feels a bit clunky. Checkout was slower than it should be, if a company is taking your money, the least they can do is make that part smooth and easy. It worked in the end, but it could use some polishing.

"Good-looking, sturdy jar"
I’ve been happy with this jar. It feels nice and thick, and it looks clean on my shelf without being too flashy. To be fair, it’s a simple item, so there isn’t a ton to say, but for what it is, it feels solid and does the job well

"Wick kept going out"
I ordered a candle from villagecandle.com i was disappointed. I didn’t have a ton of time to keep messing with it, but the wick kept sinking into the wax and going out after maybe 20 minutes. I tried trimming it like they recommend, but it still didn’t make a difference. For the price, it was just frustrating. I probably wouldn’t buy from them again.

"Everything showed up just right"
My candles arrived today, and I checked each one because I’m always a little picky about the small stuff. The scents were exactly the ones I chose, the sizes matched the order, and even the count was right with nothing missing. Straightforward, but that’s all I wanted. I’m happy with it and would order again.

"Customer Service Came Through for Me"
I had a small issue with my order and expected it to turn into a whole hassle. I reached out to customer service, and to my surprise, they got back to me quickly and fixed everything without making it complicated. By the time I checked again, my order was already sorted out. Really appreciated how easy they made it.

"Variety feels really limited lately"
I used to really enjoy browsing Village Candle, but lately the selection just feels a bit limited. A lot of the scents seem similar, and I couldn’t really find many new ones to try. It’s okay overall, just kind of disappointing compared to how it used to be.
